Didn't know that you IT folk color categorized the cat5 cables by color, Ill have to pay more attention! |

It's a good way to be able to see exactly what goes where, particularly on large patch bays red for x-over, orange for fiber, light blue for plenum grade, yellow for giga links, etc.
At home you can go with the decorator colors (pink and mauve for EC's room  ) |
