I guess they want to do "shows," some food suggestions wouldn't hurt. I guess they're staying at Circuis Circuis? They aren't huge gamblers though. Probably not nudie bars either, they are a couple  .

Why are couples excluded from Nudie bars???
Shows... They are generally over priced for what I like, but I'm a cheap @ss. Tell them to check with their Hotel, they might have a deal or recommendation. (BTW, last I knew Circus Circus was a hole)
Food. Try the Rio's buffet, it's one of the best in LV. Monte Carlo has their own brewery and it's pretty good (*hint* play the $1 "Monte Carlo" Slots by the door, best pay off's in the place... they do that to attract attention and make people think they stand a better chance of winning).
Going downtown is also pretty cool, they have cleaned it up and it has a "New Orleans" feel to it, specially on the weekend nights. During the day they have helicopter tours which I have heard are very cool.
