Wanna earn a few buck to test a CPU for me?

I have a Pentium 4 either 2000 or 2400mhz(cant remember) socket 478 CPU that I took in from a system fix/upgrade that I did. I know for sure that the mobo it came from was hosed due to physical damage, but not sure about CPU..

..and since all my friends, family and co-workers are AMD people now( ahem, Grin

)-nobody has a system for me to try it out in.

I'm willing to ship this CPU to someone close to PA, offer you $20 and funds enuff to ship it back.

I'd really like to know if this sucker works. ...would like to use it in a media center type PC.

seriously, I just would like to test a CPU before I invest in a mobo and more ram.

I'm hoping its good. The mobo it came off was cracked under the ZIF, and HSF wasn't on all the way. CPU itself looks like nothing ever happened.

BTW, its a 2.0ghz 512KB S478 CPU.

would really love to use it if good. word is these ones did some nice OC'n. The current Celly 466 I have just isn't cutting it for watching MPEG, DVD, DIVX files across the network.
