hanks to the Evil Dr I had a link to Lingo VoIP in front of me and told AT&T to stick their service and signed up for the VoIP which has unlimited long distance and local for $19.95 a month. AT&T can kiss my arse!!!!!

WOOT!!! VoIP ROCKS!!! The best part was calling AT&T and telling them to cancel my account. The guy says to me " Sir you should reconsider and give us another chance". That is when I opened a fresh can of "WHOOP A$$" and let him have it.

Best thing about VoIP, is it opens the door so that the TelCo's have to actually try and compete. It's a long way from being a major competitor, but it's gaining ground.

When I called AT&T and told them I was going to VoIP is when they really tried convincing me to stay with them. I told the guy if he could fix my long distance issues immediately and match the deal I was getting with the VoIP I would stay. His response was that I was being unreasonable.
