I thought my Cable Modem seemed a little faster!!!

Just ran a speed test at broadband reports and my 2.0Mbps connection topped out at 5.7Mbps...............................sweet.

It's about time I get something back from my cable company, between Internet, Phone and HDTV I send them $180/mo. They must have caught wind of my visit to the competition Friday. (DSL, Phone and Dish Network). I might have actually made the switch except I got pissed off and walked out. I waited for about 30min for them to call my name and then my daughter had to go to the bathroom (she's 4) and I waited another 15min after that and noticed they called the guy who came in after me. When I asked the lady said we called your name and you were not here. Yes I know, I walked right by you and went in to the bathroom with my daughter, there were only three of us waiting WTF!!!!!.........see ya, maybe next time.

Road Runner recently bumped my 3Mbs connection to an advertised 5Mbs. I usually get about 4.6 at Broadband Reports. I am paying about $85 a month for the internet and Digital TV

i riecnetly tested mine at 3.5...it is fast enough plus its wifi...so there is some loss...
