Besides wasn't Tomb Raider Hollywoods attempt at the female action/spy heroine, I doubt trying to make a female 007 would get you anything better than that

I could see someone like Ewan McGregor as 007, or hmmmm....Hugh Jackman belive it or not. I think one of those two would do really well.

I can see the guy from the Transporter but he would have to change his look to be as suave, and debioner (i have no idea hoe to spell that one) as James Bond is supposed to be. As far as Scottish goes Sean Connery was a Scot and he is the ultimate James Bond in my opinion.
