i had 9800Pro b4, so i had all series of 3dmark benchmarks installed on my pc, few days ago i just bought a MSI 6800gt, i ran 30mark 05 , 03 without any problems, but i tried to run 2001 i know it's bit old but i ran it, weird thing is, my pc can handled 03 and 05 but crashes at 2001 i get the screen where u get when u overclock gfx card too much, the whole picture fills with little blocks,my hardware is never overclocked, and it runs other things alright, just 2001 some one help?

I would uninstall 3D01, go out and get a fresh download and reinstall.

Also, update your detonator drivers too.

See if that helps.

spire hit the nail on the head. most likely a bum install of 3dmark. 3d05 and 03 stress the gpu more than 01 and since you see artifacts its not your cpu(which 01 stresses alot)

try new drivers and new install of 3dmark.
