Well it's done, sorry for not having any updates between the motor going in and this one, but ASylum and I worked many 100+ degree days to get to this point.

The motor went in about 2 weeks ago and we started it the first time on a Friday night after work. It fired right up, smoked (lightly) for about 10 minutes and ran BEAUTIFUL!!! No "check engine" lights, no adjusting necessary, NOTHING!!!

Since then I have done some things that needed to be done like bleeding brakes, alignment, and replaced all 4 O2 sensors.

The car currently has 122.5 miles on it and looking for its third oil change. It DEMANDS to be driven agressively, but so far I have managed to keep the RPM's varied and below 3500.

Here are some pics...

If you notice the passenger side motor area got cleaned, the drivers side did not. I got really pissed at all the cuts and bruises on my hands after one side and said screw it.

Now that the motor is in and the important stuff is taken care of, I will detail the engine compartment much more.

On a side note, I have been reading about waxing and such, lots of folks are taling about using a clay bar after a good wash and before polishing and then waxing, does anyone know what they mean by a clay bar and what it does?
