Morning / Evening folks...
Just bought Flight Sim 2004 and expected to have to upgrade graphics (just using onboard effort at the moment) but didn't expect the whole issue to be so confusing. 
Does anyone know how to find out whether my PC has PCI / AGP / PCI-e (doubtful)??? Or how to find out exactly what model my Mobo is so that I can check the specs online?
I've got about £70 to play with ($120-130) and have no idea what to go for.
I'd appreciate any advice - sick of playing a jumpy-*ss game at 1/4 screen size with no detail.
Have Pentium IV 2.4 multiprocessor (whatever that means), 480mb ram, onboard graphics / 300 year old Soundblaster...

Did you purchase the entire computer from a retailer like Dell? If so, you should be able to look up the specs online. After that point it should be easy to figure out what you'll need. Let us know what you have.

every computer will have a pci slot. the best bet though just take of the side panel and if theres a brown slot offset from the pci slots (typically white) which is usually on top, you have an agp slot then. that or just take a pic of the mobo and we can look at it lol... if it was a retail system just lookup the model number and such and you can typically find the specs on system from the retailer even if it is a few years old
