Info on this keyboard was posted last week. It's very cool. I hadn't seen the interview that was done and I'm glad you linked it. It's good to know that they're going to take it to production. I think it's awesome. I really hope it goes mainstream and becomes the new defacto standard to have OLED keys. Computers have come so far that it's almost silly that we still use a key layout from the 1890s and a keyboard design from the 1960s. Programs and games all use different command keys so it only makes sense to update the keyboard to match.

I agree 100%...and sorry about the repost, BB...
I can't wait to be able to hook that up (assuming I can afford the $200 price) and switch from Word to HL2 or whatever without having to rethink what keys do what...and, while the QWERTY keyboard isn't very intuitive...it HAS been the norm for a LONG time. _________________ " I reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage - Mythbusters
If you give it a while after it's released, you'll see knock offs appear with the oled or similar. I'm almost tempted to wait til second generation of this keyboard so they can get all the kinks out of it but then, it's not even released for production yet so it may come out as a great product right off the bat.
That's so cool. The Optimus Prime keyboard. I wouldn't mind having one, but I'm not paying for it. _________________ Due to a not-that-interesting turn of events, I am now known as Justin Danger.
