PERSONALISE RING TONES AND TXT MESSAGE TONES

When I personalised ringtones for people in my phonebook i had a problem with it changing the txt message too. So now if I recieve a txt message from those people it plays their ringtone. I want to have the ringtones for each person but the txt message alert to be the same for all. Is it possible?

from what ive known there arent too many phones that can do it... what model is yours though
