I have a new system that is together and, up and running. However when I try to open a floppy it says "disk not formatted" although it is. Also when I try to format a disk (just for kicks), it says "Windows unable to complete formatting" (or thereabouts). What could this be?
thanks in advance
I replaced the floppy once for a different reason, I tried a different cable, and I have tried multiple disks. The BIOS is set for 1.44. I haven't any idea why its doing this. ???? _________________ Lian Li PC-6077B

I was going to suggest what Cheeze just did... I have a few drives without keyed data connections, and I occasionally put the cable on the wrong way... Powers up, but no access.
