I had my ear pierced, by a cougar.
Other than that, was riding a bike off road over in Sicily over a cooled lava flow, chain broke off, flipped over, and the spokes from where the chain goes went into my ankle. Ended up having to pull it out, wrap it, and walk (ok, limp) back to camp, which was about 3 miles away.
Another time I dropped a crystal bowl, and a piece cut my leg. Have a 4" scar from that one.
Could go on, have had MANY stupid accidents Yes, I am accident prone... |

Wow! That's the most Dave I've ever seen.
I have one for you.
I got into the whole R/C plane thing and spent over $1K on the crap. The engine I bought had a new thing (at the time) called a remote needle valve. Instead of having to adjust the carb mixture at the carb which is directly behind the prop, the valve was moved to the back with a piece of tubing going to the carb.
Anyway, I had it on the test stand to break it in and had it at about half-throttle. I had it facing me on the bench I had it mounted to, so I reached THROUGH the prop to adjust the remote valve at the back of the engine.
I ended up with my index and middle finger tips sliced to the bone.
I guess remote needle valves don't work for idiots... _________________ Due to a not-that-interesting turn of events, I am now known as Justin Danger. |
