Yea your right, the bigger the angle the better you can see from an angle.
And, confusion is the reason I haven't bought yet. I just decided I would wait a while for the spec's to get a bit better (higher contrast, briter, and faster) and the price to drop a tad (they aren't bad now for a 19" though).
I've also been thinking about this one: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11008820&whse=BC&topnav=&cat=4181&hierPath=84*4181*
Pretty good over all spec's and good price. |

When it comes to viewing angle is 160 degrees better than 85 degrees?
I figured the higher number would mean you can get more off of center and still see, now I am second guessing that...
Anyone? |
woah... started reading this, but it's a tad confusing... maybe you'll make some sense out of it:

EDIT: ok... so the bigger the angle the better, but they may be using some fubared standards... 85 should be enough, unless you are making somebody else see the screen.
I'm also following the Dells... still waiting for the price to drop a bit with codes and discounts... tip: sign up to their catalog... there's always a "Big Bucks" code on the backcover (last one I got was $35) |
