Friday evening my mother came home from work and asked me to book her a flight to Arizona, because she and dad needed to get there, my Uncle had been ill for a long time dieing of cancer. Their Flight left out at 5:30 this morning they got to the house at 2:20p.m., my mom called about 2:40 and said my Uncle had just taken his last breath, that he had passed away. I know my aunt had told me mom they didnt expect him to make it past next weekend, but for some reason she said she needed to get there by today, and it is kind of freaky that he would die within 10 minutes of my mom getting to the house. Now thats what I call intuition, a tad freaky in a way:(

Definitely freaky...

But, from what I have experienced recently with the loss of some loved ones is that they will hold on just long enough to see/hear someone special and then let go.

Yeah my grandfather did that back in 97, held out till the last of his grandchildren (which was my brother) got to the hospital, my grandmother leaned over and said ok Robert Tim is hear you can go home. THen he took his last breath and that was that. Still freaks me out a tad though...

Yeah, my grandmother did that this spring, followed by my girlfriend's grandmother a few months later. Waite til the last person had said farewell each time, and minutes later they were gone...

And... Sorry to hear about your uncle.

I just got word Friday that a friend on another forum lost his wife to cancer.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!
