to those of you who think that their computer may be old or crappy, be happy your not stuck with the one I'm using right now.

fear the mighty compaq presario 6000

AMD atholon 1800+ (32bit), a mighty 1.53 GHz processing power
2 x 256MB stock crap RAM
No DvD capabilities at all
200GB Maxtor HD
Ati Radeon 8500
and whatever other stock crap they threw in there

I don't have a choice, its this piece of junk or nothing

atleast it can play HL2 and CSS just fine

Yeah, I still love the SCSI stuff. Also, I've been running for the last 10 years, starting with the ultra-wide stuff. Extra server drives are awesome. It'll be hard making the switch if SATA drives ever prove to be faster. Tagged command queueing is awesome.
