I'd switch if I could but Comcast is the only High Speed provider on base. _________________ Nothing says good job like a firm open palmed slap on the behind.

Two nights ago my roomate couldn't get a DNS to resolve for anything on his laptop, yet I was able to (I think I used a poor test and it was pulling the DNS off my local cache) as well as the same problem last week. I'll switch my router to use the DNS listed above and we'll see what happens.
Comcast has been nothing but the best for me for the last 2 years since it came to my area. I did get some downages the first month but nothing since. I've gone from 2 Mbps down unofficially (I was supposed to be at 1.5) to officially supposed to have 4Mbps down, real world I'm getting about 2.8. If they unblocked incoming requests to port 80 and upped the upstream I'd be happy cause that would help my serv..er.........uh um um......sinuses, yeah it would help my sinuses. At work we have a bunch of execs and stuff on SBC and its been hell with them with the outages and restrictions. In most cases we've had to switch to comcast because SBC would timout a VPN connection in about 5 minutes with no reason other than "Your Software is malfunctioning" _________________ Jinsei to uchuu to subete no koate wa.. yonjuuni
