You can't argue the results. looks like it works great, but hanging that much weight out there with a fan vibrating away would scare me.

does the heatsink require the zalman fan or can you attach any 80mm fan? i was looking at the heatsink in store and couldn't see any holes for screwing the fan in.

The screws for attaching the fan slip into the trcks of the heatsink, with the right hardware, any fan will work. But the Zalman fan is pretty incredible for being so narrow. You may have clearance issues with the side case panel with anything fatter.

Wow that is a killer review! I really like that cooler. For the price it's worth adding it to the system. You said there was a whole lot of parts, on a scale from 1 being hard and 10 being easy how hard was it to install? Thanks!
