Can't you do that by post count, anyway? i.e., you must have 50 posts before you may upload.

PS, 20k is huge for an avatar.
PPS, Off-site avatars are a bad idea for the slow-down reasons... among others.

Your PS... true... you should be able to do less. Where did you see that? The size I have set is 20,000 Bytes, but that is not active, since avatar uploading is not turned on.

OK, thanks. The 100x100 is supposed to be enforced on all avatars, the 20KB is only for onsite avatars.
