Uhm, you DO know that EQ2 has been released since thanksgiving, right?
I was in the beta test for this and my p4 1.7, 512 800mhz rdram with a gforce3 (yes, it's old, I know) worked about as well as Oprah's diet. Sure, it would work great for a while but then you'd get some nice eye candy you'd crawl.
The $100 retail package includes a pet dragon. Woo.
IMHO, stick with regular EQ. It's better on content and there are more than 10 players. You can seriously play EQ2 for 5 hours and never talk to a living soul. People are there, sure, but they're unnecessary to progress. |

WEll, since your system is below the min requirements, that would explain why it would crawl in the graphic intensive areas
In EQ2 after about lvl 20 you will need to group with people to keep progressing, there's so much content you'll never see/find it all
