Just released... And I just put it on, which explains the few brief outages. If you use PHP, there are a few bug fixes in this release...

How is 5.x for you? I stay away from it since 4.x is so stable with everything... Kinda like me still using Apache 1.x

Just had to redo Apache as I realized I turned GD off by accident! Bang Head

5 is rock solid stable, but the software you're running has been written specifically around PHP4, so it wouldn't make too much sense to upgrade until they officially support PHP5.

We decided to use PHP5 for it's superior OOP model, as well as the Improved MySQL extension. This extension handles a lot of the new features in 4.1.

We decided on MySQL 4.1 mostly for the subqueries, despite that when we were developing, MySQL 4.1 and PHP5 were still in Beta.

Pfff. Apache 1 is still being developed and it's still great. A2 was developed entirely from scratch making a lot of the old modules incompatible without being re-compiled if not re-written.

Due to the painful adaptation of A2, A1 has stuck around. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
