pc lag

I am having problems and i am wondering if anyone has any input...my pc laggs a little bt like when lsitening to a song on itunes it will repat 1/2 second of muic for about 2 secs then contuinue...the same thing happens in cs:source...i didnt have this problem at all when i was at a freinds hosue...this is the seocnd time it has done this and both times i went to my friends hosue and came back to my house and it ahs been broken...the last time my pc worked normal at my house was before i was grounded...any input?

Were both locations using a LAN?

his is wired, and mine is wifi...i dont thaink taht matters tho...does it?

wifi is usually noticably slower than a lan...which wifi you running? 802.11 (then a letter)

I have never used itunes so not real sure here but are you streaming the music off a website or playing it locally off your hard drive? If you are streaming it I would say most likely the connection is the problem.

i dont think ti ahs anything to do with the wifi,ca sue it has never doen this before i was grounded...and i dont stream music i ahve it on my hdd's.
