I once mounted a 5.1 stereo system to my office space and then I was playing XWing. Yikes The sound of a tie fighter going across the room is awesome. I wish I could find my copy of xwing. Censored

The Zalman 5.1 Theatre headset is really good for the money, my friend got one for uni after complaints about our loud late night LAN sessions Laughing

This isn't me, in case anyone was wondering. My camera is outta batteries =\.

Pantronic Audio 90s are pretty sweet. They have very nice sound, as well as an exceptional noise cancelling mic.

If it helps, I get called a wall hacker on CS, because I can hear people when they don't think I can, so I just come around the corner and blast them in the face.

All for around $35 Wink.

A friend of mine at college has the Xdream headphone system. These are wireless infrared headphones with as good as quality sound as wired headphones, and they have a USB port on the base that plugs directly into your computer.

And sound will be transmitted from your computer thru the USB port. And since they are wireless, then no cords to get tangled up in when playing games.

cordless is ncie but expensive...i wont spend more than 30$ on headphones...they are doomed to break sooner or alter so i dont wanna loose a huge investment.
