ok, so it's been like 3 years since I built a system and I may as well be a n00b now cause I'm gunna ask a n00b question. WTF is up with the ram? I'm building an intel system (yes, blah blah, Don't care, I want reliable without heating my office space like a sauna) with an intel board http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/cv2/ and using SATA, etc. The ram, however, states Support for DDR2 533 MHz and DDR2 400 MHz DIMMs and http://www.pricewatch.com states that DDR2 ram is 675, 667 and 533 with some other numbers like pc2-4200, pc2-5400, etc. What's with the 4200 numbers? It's not the bus speed, that should be the second number, right?

From what I know, the xx00 number correlates with the ram's mbit/sec speed. PC2700 = 2.7Gb/s = 333MHz RAM Clock.

Kinda like PC133 = 133Mb/s

I thought that the 133 referred to the bus speed?
