Hi!

Since I have had an issue problem (I suppose…) while I have installed a video card Radeon 9250 in my Motherboard ASUS A7V8X-MX SE, I’m searching someone that installed with succes a RADEON 9550 in the same Motherboard, so I’ll have the confirm that the 2 components are compatible togheter.

Please, it’s urgent, I must have a confirm within tomorrow morning!

Thank you all a lot!!!

Welcome Dart81! Wave

I have no direct experience on that card on that board, but I see no reason to expect a problem!

The board: http://www.asus.com/products/mb/socketa/a7v8x-mx-se/overview.htm

Supports AGP 8x, so any modern AGP Radeon card should be just fine! But, what has your problem/issue been? Are you aware of something not generally known? Or am I out of the loop on this setup?

But, for reference... Look at this cached Google page for the poster name Ronza...

He has your board and vga card in a (supposedly) functional system!!

I would have no reason to suspect those components would have any issues together.

Really thank you guys for your help! Smile

My problem with the Radeon 9250 was that the card becames very very hot after a few minutes of work....and with this card when I started the PC, it didn't boot all the times!
So, I have brought back the card to the shop thinking that there were some kind of incompatibility...

But seeing that this "Ronza" has my same configuration, maybe it means that my card is really broken....

So, tomorrow, I'll come to the shop (computer discount) and I'll change the 9250 with another (I'll take a 9550 because I have some more money to spend Razz )

And I hope that I won't have any other issuesssssssss!!!!

P.S. excuse my english.....I'm an italian guy Smile
