I'm in the market for a low cost laptop. I'm not looking for some powerhouse unit.. I just cant afford something like that. I'm looking to spend <$300 for a Celly, PII, PIII machine that can run WinXP Pro.
things I'm looking or looking out for:
1. Amount of RAM doesn't matter, so long as it can hold at least 256MB or more.
2. Dead battery machines are ok too so long as the batteries can be obtained on the 'net still.
3. No dead pixels or screen scratches please.
4. Minor scuffs and scratches on the case is ok.
5. 6GB HDD or larger
6. CDrom or better
7. Floppy optional
8. USB port
9. Ethernet port desired.
10. PCMCIA slots are needed, especially if no onboard ethernet exists.
