$60 monitor

Mine blew up after I moved it into my garage suite thanks to the outlets someone added and hooked up wrong AND weren't grounded.

I missed a $75 21" from the same guy, but scored this KDS VS190i 19" not flat CRT for $60. Looks awesome for a low end monitor company, running at 1280x1024@85Hz right now since that's recommended.

I also took the opportunity to clean up and rearrange, so the comp is between the speakers, monitor in the center instead of the stereo, and the couch is centered between the speakers.

Now I just need a wireless keyboard to go with my MX-700 (and some bigger fonts Razz

).

Oh yeah, in case you didn't figure it out, the comp is hooked to the stereo (which is hooked to the bottom speakers).

I had that same KDS monitor...the first died suddenly within 6 months but they replaced it no hassle and had a facility close by so that was easy. The replacement lasted about a year and a half before it died. For what you paid you are cool but I wont buy a KDS anymore.

You've missed the point I guess. This isn't an office computer, it's a HTPC that happens to be a desktop too.

You my friend are living in a good time of your life. Enjoy it while it lasts. Not saying things don't get better, just that I really look back and enjoy those times!!!
