I remember being 16, had a teacher intern that if I had the chance, I would've done the same thing. At 16 the boy knew what he was doing (assuming he wasn't in the Special Eduction area). I doubt the boy is going to be traumatized by it, not at that age, he may regret it though. It's possible he will be traumatized.

Now, as to whether it was right or wrong. It's against the law so it must be wrong. So the teacher should be punished, because of that I don't codone the act.

Also with the 2yr old in the car at the same time....that makes it all the worse, unfit parent.

I rememeber having "sex ed" around 4th or 5th grade in military academy. I also had to do a report on the male and female reproductive system.

Take it out of the school situation. IMHO it's being blown out of porportion because she was his teacher.

If that 16 yr old is traumatized it will be by the attention the media coverage brings down on him not by the act of doing it with his teacher...well in my opinion anyway.

I agree i dont think he thought much of it. I think that if anything makes him feel ashamed or like it was his fault it will eb the medai taht does it so they can get a story out of him.
