Money is always an issue Grin

With that being said. How long do YOU expect to keep a new graphics card? If it's less than 1 yr, and your not a super heavy gamer... go with an AGP card.

If it's more than 2 yrs... upgrade and gor with a PCI-E card.

If it's 1 -2 yrs...... then it depends on how much your willing to spend, and how much gaming you really do.

I currently have a R9800 Pro, and am not in the market for a new card.

im on a 9000 pro 128 if that tells you how long i use them lol.... ive had this one three years... im big into gaming and i can actually play hl2 and such w/ my new comp but i like to get my monies worth outta it if possible which it doesnt look like im gunna w/ my current mobo...

so im looking at another 400 to upgrade vs 200 for just a card.... that really adds up.

I would say wait for pci E or get it now its worth the money...if you have it. I have a 9800pro 128 and by the end of summer i will hopefully have a winchester and a x800 pci E.

IT's mine *hiss* get your own. Laughing . nah i got it back in april the sapphire edition. its a great card check newegg. and if you get one get a saphire if you order from newegg because sapphire and newegg have a deal where they extend the newegg warranty to 2 years rather than 30 days with other brands. found that out when i fried my 9500.
