OK... so today I am doing stuff around the house and decided to turn on the 80's hair bands music on Sirius (It's on our Dish).... a DJ came on that I remember from the radio station I listen to back then (105.5 KNAC). Reminded me of stuff... and I went searching the web a bit. Came across the guy who was the drummer for a band that I was friends with (and bouncer for) back in my hollywired days.

I guess he's still into that scene, and in a "new" band... they interviewed him and... well nice guy... still not brightest bulb on tree. Anyways he lied about his age (he's like 35 was saying he was 27 or 2Cool... so they busted him on it and posted some pic's of fliers from the band he was in when I knew him....

Long story short.... I DON'T miss the big hair days:

And before you ask... No I didn't have the big hair. I was in the Marines then... they kinda frowned on long hair... Laughing

Wow, I can remember wanting to learn how to breakdance and wondering why all the guys looked like girls. Mostly though I remember the toys since i was a young whippersnapper back then.

I remember the 80's, I was a child. I do remember that stirruped stretch pants were the coolest things to have, especially if they had a seam right down the front of the leg. Also the more brilliant the color of the stretch pants the better, and the best was if there was some big pattern on them in a color that was shockingly contrasted to the main color. I remember specifically a pair of mine that were brilliant turquiose blue and has squiggly little black things all over them... horrid.
