At work I have a new P4 2.8GHz/Win XP Pro.............

Any body ever hear of a real time clock gaining 4~5 minutes over 1 1/2 day time period???

Maybe it was updating with the Windows Time server?

I know a guy who has a rig that is constantly gaining time. It is an AMD set up though and even odder it has done this with a couple of different mobo's. No idea what the hell is causing it in his case probably user error

If you're system is part of the NT/W2K domain then it will get it's time from the AD server.
