What program will migrate all info from one drive to another? (this is to replace an old 2gig drive to a new 40gig drive)

I use Norton Ghost but most drive manufacturer's have their own utility that will do it as well.

I generally use Ghost, or I just reinstall and then copy over all the important data myself.

I think WinXP has a Files and Settings Wizard that works pretty well (from what I've heard). It copies styles, backgrounds, pertinent files, etc.

(It's a sad state of affairs but.........)

The IT guy here at work (YES, I said the IT guy!) wants to change out his dad's 2gig HDD for a larger HDD.

He wanted to know the limitations of the OS (98SE), how he could perform this exchange and what he needed to do!

I told him the BIOS may not recognize a HDD larger than 137gig and that he may need to use a drive overlay (circumventing the 137gig limit). That I thought Ghost will perform the file transfer (he wants to use Partition Magic). And that he needs to put each drive on it's own IDE cable as master for the file transfer.
