I bought myself a new video card, an XGI Volari V5 128MB.

Got it for $57 with postage.

Seems pretty nice for the price. I like the card's TV-Out quality. I got 1622 3D marks (3dmark03)

Any ideas how much the card can be overclocked?

Welcome polatouche! I have been seeing these cards around, but haven't messed with one yet. What is the core speed on it? And, is there overclocking in the software it comes with? I'm wondering what you would use if there isn't...

The speeds are 300 Mhz for the core and 500 Mhz for the memory.

Yes, there is an overclocking utility in the drivers, it's just that I wanted to know other people's experience before trying it myself.
Otherwise Powerstrip seems to recognize the card too.

No, I don't have PCIEx16. The motherboard is based on an i865, no idea on the brand though as it was a gift from a relative.

Below is an old photo I took of the motherboard.

Edit : it's not 500 Mhz memory, but rather 250 Mhz (500Mhz DDR)

Here's a picture of the overclocking utility in the drivers

If you use that.......keep the resolution and refresh rate at lower settings till you see how well it works.
