Pumpkin pie here I come! I bought some frozen pie crusts and I'll make two today or tomorrow. My grandparents are going to bring one also. Grin

Who cares about turkey, stuffing, green beans, etc, all I need is cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie (peacan is good too, but in addition to, not instead of).

Only thing is, my mum is 500 miles away, so this thanksgiving will be mostly store bought crap and no fresh baked goods... Sad

Her biggest concern with thanksgiving was having too much pumpkin pie for them (parents and their friends) to eat... Yikes

So what are you guys doing for thanksgiving? I'm having it at my aunt's house with my aunt and cousins, grandparents, and maybe a few aunt's/uncles on my mom's side.

low key affair with local relatives. We thought long and hard on it but decided to have Turkey for dinner. I have no idea what else, but if mums is the dear I know she is, I'll be staring a Key Lime Pie right in the face. The thought of it now is enough to keep me going till tomorrow.

Ahhh yes, I haven't had one of those in a few years. Tough decision on the turkey thing isn't it? Laughing

Well that makes about 5,000 to 1 in favor of frying Grin

I just don't know if I want to spend $25 on all the oil required to do it.

I'm making: Turkey (in oven), Ham, smashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, develed eggs, carrots, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, dutch apple pie.........

A friend is coming over to help me eat some of this while we drink a few brews I made a few weeks ago and watch some football.
