It looked like a big win when it was by state, but check out the map of county by county voting...
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm
Kerry got his general neck of the woods, most big cities, and some dusty spots near the Mexican border... |

Cool... that's interesting. It's funny how liberal the "big" cites are, and how conservative the rest of the county is.
Of course... I wonder when the rest of Texas is going to go down to that blue part and start the hanging?? |

I think the stat is wrong..........shouldn't it be, illegal alien voter per square mile (altho even that would be way low). _________________ Two wrongs don't make a right!

and again misleading cause a small county will be influenced by small things, yet at the same time he still had solidly won the states that he won.
Its interesting how all the counties can go one way yet 1 big city can make the vote go their way...
On the daily show Joh stewart said an interesting thing, somehting along the lines of:
All the people that have been hit by terroris, the North eastand DC, and inparticular New York voted solily for Kerry.. yet all the states that hadn;t been effected by it, have nothign to terrorise voted Bush..... _________________

Hmmmm interesting twist of facts. Show me the last time New York or DC voted in a Presidential election voted ANY way but Democrat?
I also think it's a funny fact that the VAST majority of all military personal and families voted for Bush. The ones who's lives are on the line supported Bush.... not Kerry. Now that is an interesting straight forward fact. |

Yeah, the cities always tend to vote democrat. My area of NJ was impacted greatly by 911, and we're one of few red counties in a state that went blue.
