This thing is insane!!!!

My 9700 Pro choked hard!!!

1938 Marks...

I RARELY ever saw above 9 frames a second...

Time for 939 pins, X800XT and some better PCI action!!!

BAH I am a little fed up with 3DMark. I wish the #'s from one version to the next were more consistent.

i tried to run it, it would run fine, 20-45~ fps, then for no reason, it would go to like 0-2 fps, then back to 20-45, then 0-2. it was like that in all tests, i aborted on the cpu test because it was freezin up so bad i couldn't stand the choppyness.

and if the #'s from test to test were consistant, then the tests would all basically be the same. and no point to doing it for different versions.

Well who knows what they have done. in 04 they did a bunch of stuff that no game engine would ever do. So it wasn't really a good eval for what they said it was for.

I personally think they are working closely with ATi & Nvidia now to have them try to push out as much stuff to the graphics card to make the older cards choke so people think they have to upgrade, even though the real game developers do a lot more to optimize their graphic engines to make them more compatible with the older cards... so they can sell their games, not ATi & Nvida's video cards.

But that's probably just me....
