Hey, just bought an 8" Lilliput touch screen and am having difficulty getting it to display off my laptop. I can get it to display (sometimes) but the lilliput is only displaying a quarter of my laptops screen, as I move the mouse around on the laptop, the screen moves on the lillput. Any idea how to get the the laptop screen correctly scaled onto the lillput, your help would be much appreciated, cheers Shaun.

Hi bing... Welcome.

Couple of questions for you... Does your Laptop support dual monitors, configurable with different resolutions and refresh rates? I had a laptop that allowed me to have a second screen, but I don't think I could drop the secondary resolution from what the main what screen was set to...

I would browse the settings in Display Properties to make sure it isn't an issue there... But, thats assuming its some kind of Windows OS... Is it?

I haven't seen a 8" Lilliput in person, but the 7" didn't have these problems on various computers, whether used as the primary or as a secondary display...

Yeah, I've got a one year old HP laptop running xp. The screen is for an in car setup, navagation, dvd's games, and 8" is suprisingly bigger than 7". Will have another crack at it tonite, cheers for the help.

I'd say you have too high a resolution for this little screen. Decrease your res. one step (e.g from1024x768 to 800x600)
