I pay $45 a month for my Rod Runner cable connection. I get between 2.5-3.0 down and 365k up.

I'm paying $36.99. I was going to go try cable this time around, but I would lose my email address, it isnt all that much faster,(next door neighbor has it) and its 49.99 a month.

Oh, and with DSL, I get a free 56k dialup.

3.3Mbps down/256k up, Free modem, free install, and 6 months at $19.99 per month(then goes to $42.95)convinced me to try Comcast, in 6 months I'll see what sort of deal Verizon (if they finish their upgrades) will offer to win me back (and then see if Comcast will match it. Even if I stick with comcast it'll take them about 3.5 years to get back what save in the first 6 months.
And to top it off I get a $75 gift card at circuit city.
A sweet deal for me considering I was about to switch anyway

I worry about the going up thing in 3 or 6 months, I forget about things like that and end up paying a fortune.

SBC hasn't been perfect, but they do e-mail me and remind me when my contract ends so I dont forget and pay 65 bux a month for the PRO.
