I just got a new 35 Watt 2400+ mobile chip from Newegg today and thought I would show a little of whats going on with it.

I installed it and ran machine with everything stock. Then I rebooted and set the processor to 200x10 just to see what the temperatures ended up at. I had no idea they would be this low!!! (My temps have proven to be very accurate in MBM) (Notice also the low stock Vcore voltage)

I will update this thread whenever I raise the OC. (I'm expecting something over 2500Mhz)

Yeah I have seen some outrageous over clocks on those mobile CPU's with very low temps to boot. I'll be curious to see what you get so please do keep us posted.

Here's the results from teh end of tonight. Running 220 x 10. I raised the voltage from 1.5 to 1.6 just for good measure. This was taken with Prime running to load the processor 100%. I had Prime running for a good 20 minutes. These are real temps. The stock processor settings are:

133 x 13.5 for 1800Mhz at 1.50 volts

This Processor is a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the outcome of this weekends OCing. I had to raise the voltage a bit to get up here, but it will prime till the end of time.

Looking good. I bought one of those for my wifes rig (Nf7-s w/ XMS pc33500 bh-5) and easily acheived 2561 ( 196x13) on a AX7 air cooler. Wanted to keep the multi a little higher and not go for as much fsb due to running F@H on it.

I also have a 2400 but can't get anywhere... I really think my RAM is holding me back =(

yes and no.. the L3 bridges are superlocked to 6x. that is the "startup" multiplier. The L6 bridges control the PowerNow multipliers-variable, but have a set high multi. Your chipset must be able to use PowerNow. If it can(must do), you will be able to adjust the multiplier within the startup and the high set multi.

I stuck it in, and it defaulted to low Mhz like Knight said.

Then I manually raised FSB and multi and all is good...
