I haven' t been up to much. Still working at the same job (computer phone support & field service). I don't think I upgraded my PC since I've been active on IANAG (a year or two now) .. I did get a new video card (GeForce FX 5600) but that's about it.
I spend more time now on Xbox Live playing ESPN NFL Football =)
Other than that, I've gotten a bit into drag racing. Nothing hardcore, but it's fun.

OH as far as the Mini PC thing .. I plan on building a PC for my car.
7" Touchscreen LCD from Xenarc.com .. has a VGA connector so the picture should be nice and clear.
One of the newest EPIA motherboards .. I haven't looked lately, but they're getting better and better .. not sure which one I want though. Need to research it a bit more.
One company out there also sells nice power supplies for this purpose, so you don't need a DC converter.
The frontend will probably be from http://www.mediaengine.org. |
