I think my main pc is dead due to one of the hdd's on the RAID array going bad! This sucks... Most stuff is backed up, but my current motherboard review will have to be done over (for the most part).

ANyone know magic tricks to recovering from a RAID 0 disaster... Bang Head

And... to make things worse, my other pc won't stay up long enough to do any other work. It randomly locks up after a few seonds to a few minutes.

I'm on my old K6-2 pc now... Mad

Today sucks... I could have had that review done by now, but who knows when it will be at this point...

Have reconfigured both PCs now... Both HAD (2) 40GB drives in RAID 0... total capacity... 160GB.

Now, I have my main rig with RAID 1 using 2 40GB drives, the second rig just has 1 40GB, and the bad drive is on the shelf ready for RMA...

RAID 1 is kinda fun... I took one drive out and booted up to test it... and hey, it still worked... Laughing

When did the Maxtor warranty drop for 3 years? All 4 drives were built Dec. 2002.
