Laughing OK.. so I was at ATi's site d/ling the newest drivers... and for S&G's I clicked on their "trade in" offer.... If you send them your old ATi video card you can buy a brand new 9800Pro XT for $449.00

... of course you could just go to NewEgg.com and buy the same card (with free shipping) for $439.00 and keep your old card... Bang Head Laughing

That trade-in thing is for those who got lesser ATI cards at places like Dell, HP, etc and paid $4**-$5** for a low end "upgrade".

When the see ATI's trade-in deal they think they are getting a good deal due to paying the same amount for "MX", "SE", 9200/9500/9600 and 5200/5700 cards at the OEM's.

Either way it's a good deal, I'd have to pay $656 CAD if I wanted one... And that's wholesale too! If I went downtown it would probably be $1,200. LOL So glad I have a vendors permit.
