While taking up considerably less space than a shoebox, this little device seamlessly allows users to add additional storage to any network in less than five minutes. Today we review the Snap Appliance 80GB Snap Server 1100. This compact NAS (network attached storage) device has many great features including: 5 minute installation, a compact web and ftp server, or simply a network share. - The Review

Great timing on this. Was looking at this one and the Netdisk as a way to keep my son (and wife) off MY server Grin LOL

Nothing like trying to burn some DVD's, and having them both hitting the box playing MP3's or videos.

Glad it helped. So far < 400 hits though. More will come, I know it... I can feel it...

You can feel it? Confused You going to beg [H] and Anand to link? Maybe /. ? Laughing

It is off to an amazingly weak start, I'll agree with that!

I also liked the review. and was glad you compared it to other alternatives.
I think the price, awkward shape , and relatively slow performance would keep this off my list

the shape? thats my least concern - its nice and small
the price is prohibitive for homes and the speed tests im still not completely satisfied with. it would be nice to have some other benchmark results...

And... to address your comment elsewhere on the WWW... I intend to make all the fonts larger once the new layout rolls out... May take a while to get the old reviews caught up, but new ones will be 12px instead of 10px...
