The Patriot Memory Supersonic 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive performed just about as expected, which means a new level of performance when upgrading from a USB 2.0 capable flash drive. The write speeds were almost as good as the published specification (70MB/s), while the read speeds actually exceeded Patriot Memory's specification (100MB/s).

All of a sudden the drive is acting very erratic.

It is no longer recognized in new computers, or first time used USB ports. It still works when plugged into a previously used USB port in Windows.

I just formatted (on a PC that can see the storage device, and a USB port that can see the device), and still having the same problem.

Very strange, I have never seen this happen before.

Actually, it might just not work in USB2.0 ports. But I don't have many USB3.0 ports to try out.
