no but my buddy keeps telling me that im missing out...

doesnt look much different from BL #1 to me...

In all honesty....if you didn't like the first, you won't like the second. It's more of the same (gameplay anyways) than being different.

New environment
New skills, characters, weapons, shields, etc.
BA skill levels are interesting achievements
