This might be best air cooler

i have this cooler on my AMD 1.8 keeps my temps at 38C at load.

That was one of the first items I ever reviewed... probably Summer 2002... Grin

Several dozen heatsinks later, I'd say its in my top 10 though...

what im planning on doing is putting a fan on top and reversing the fan on the bottom of heatsink. Then, put an intake hole on my side panel for room temp. cooling. then it will be the BEST cooling unit!!! MUHAHAHHAH! King

Is this the heatsink you lapped? Was it tricky with the screw heads poking through?

If I were using one now, I would take it apart, put better thermal paste around where the heatpipe tubes meet the copper base... lap the surface while disassembled, and put it all back together nice and tight...

Anyway, a nice, quiet Enermax 92mm 65CFM fan would still own.
