Missed the 3 Thursday games in Week 12 last year but finished 150-97 for the season, something to build on.

OK - apparently we're not making it back to 16 teams in the fantasy league this year... So, I cut the max to 10 and reduced the number making the playoffs from 8 to 6. Still need 1 team ASAP!

ETA: I like the idea of 10 people, it gives me a better chance to have a decent team.

We never got the 10th team, so late last night I cut the 9th team! The draft is tonight, so we had to get to an even number ASAP. We'll be running an 8 player league this year...

Main questions are -

Do we drop the divisions? I cut it back to 2 divisions of 4 teams. Top teams in the division do not automatically get the top seeds - they will be ranked where they belong.

Do we let fewer teams make the playoffs? 6 teams make the playoffs right now, down from 8 in the old setup. Is 6 OK with 8 teams total? Or should we go down to 4?

J - Any reason we can't push the draft out another week? Maybe even 2? Season doesn't start until Sept 8th.

Might allow us to get 2 more teams, but if we stick with 8 - I'd say make it a 5 team playoff with the #1 getting a Bye in the first week?

Going forward there were no decent slots for drafting. They were all like noon or midnight... Laughing

Yeah - I don't see why Yahoo has an issue with a set number of drafts at once... Not sure how many they can handle at once, but can it be that taxing to their servers? Plus, they allow them to start every 15 minutes and they take about an hour - there is plenty of overlap.

When I started the league back in July I was amazed at how few choices were left for draft slots, and this was the best bet with a time that I thought east and west coast players might make.
