just wondering if any of you have a transformer tablet and if so do you like it? I am looking around for a possible tablet and currently testing the acer iconia version and it appears pretty solid, but the addition of the keyboard appears a nice addition. the features i like on the keyboard include the battery and also the full cd card slot.

I just got an Asus Transformer Tablet this weekend. I don't have the keyboard because I couldn't swing another $150 for it. I'll probably get a bluetooth keyboard for it until i can afford the keyboard dock.

So far I love it. There are a few quirks that I understand are pretty common amongst Android 3.1 that is a bit of a pain in the butt, but easy ways to get around them.

Mostly it has to do with Facebook, the full site doesn't work very well on it. I can log in once, but go to anybody's page or do anything and it sits at loading for about 5 minutes then error's out. From then on I can't do anything until I go in and clear everything (cache, cookies, forms, etc). Then I can do one load and that's it. The mobile facebook site works great though...Going to keep looking for an work around for Facebook, and most sites that use Flash it seems Sad

While I know the keyboard is a little pricey, look around and you might find a good deal. I found the best deal at microcenter. You will obtain 2 usb ports, a sd card slot and also extended battery live. After you pick up a keyboard and a stand and maybe a case for the transformer you will be close to the cost of the keyboard. Believe me, I know what you are going thru with the costs and such. After waiting and picking up both, I am happy i waited. Enjoy your tablet.

Just picked up a HTC EVO 3D, and decided that I didn't need a tablet because I was real close to pre-ordering the Toshiba tablet.
