At TigerDirect! Mail in Rebates, but these seem like super deals for htpc, backup rigs, or folding farm members...

$10 - 1.2GHz cpu and mobo that uses SDRAM... HERE

$5 - 1.3GHz cpu and mobo that uses DDR... HERE

Yikes

I really wish I had the few dollars to spare when that deal was good. ...because I'm in the market for something in the SDR type format.

I dont trust my half dead KT7A-R mobo to fill my DNS server needs.

Hey Knight, I might be able to part with my trusty old A7V133 board(and a 1gig athy if needed), if you have some goodies to trade!!!

Been a workhorse and never modded at all, box, books, etc... Wink

Thank you for the offer.

I'd like to go with a Via C3 (or other Via) CPU on this rig. It doesn't need much for processor power, and the power consumption, plus minimal heat production is what I need.

My IDE are good. But 3 of my PCI slots are dead, and WinXP/Win2K3 doesn't like the ACPI.

...mind you, this mobo has been in service since they came out. And its been overclocked to hell and back. once was home to a 1300T-bird(200fsb) OC'd to 13x145mhz, H20 + dual chilled.
