True - but other than this lapse he has been checking in rather regularly.

Then again - we had a winner from the football pool never claim a prize - or even acknowledge any of my messages. He kept playing every week, and his prize was given away again later in the year. Laughing

I sometimes enter competitions just for fun, simply because there's need to post something to participate (like in this case) and I have something to post. Though I say in advance in such cases that I don't want to win. Of course in this case I think it's one of the more interesting prizes I've seen in a while, so would have loved to win it. But that's just because I have a morbid fascination with inexpensive solutions to things I want. I could certainly use a tablet, and this looks like it has the right combination of "could be" and "somewhat disappointing" that's the stuff of hours and fascinating tweaking and hair pulling and some blog posts on my site.

Maybe he's engaged in a heated foursquare marathon and can't be bothered.

Feel bad for the guy if the week runs out but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to another shot at it.
